Siddavatam Fort - Fortress in Siddavatam - Y.s.r., India

The siddavatam fort-one of the best historical forts in Andhrapradesh. The fort is easily accessible and its near to kadapa(20km) I was surprised to see the fort as it is well maintained super clean. We can witness superb gardens. Its a big fort and half day is sufficient to visit all corners. There are temples inside the fort and there is a dharga constructed in 1700's. Some boundary walls have became old. My only complaint is there must be adequate details about the history of fort in the form of boards, shows etc. Our history must be preserved.

Good.If you don't visit iif not interested in history and monuments.No ticket,only local people maintaining.

Best Historical monument on the banks of penna river. Beautiful place to visit the place in search of Rock monumental structure, Ancient culture resembles from it.

Historical place with great architect and view of the penna river from the fort surrounded by mountains and forest is breathtaking. .. Less Development , AP tourism should consider this to attract more tourists Good place to visit with family and friends..

Beautifully preserved ancient fort. It's a 13th century fort built on the bank of Penna river. The fort extends over an area of 30 acres contains mainly Hindu monuments with beautifully carved pillars and halls although all the temples inside the fort are disappeared. What you see now is part of those big temples inside the fort. You can climb on top of fort walls and see the bastions. This place is treasure of ancient history. It's important we show these kind of places to our kids and make them understand about our rich heritage and history. Winter season is idle to visit here as summers will be literally unbearable with scorching heat. There is a restaurant maintained by Andhra Pradesh tourism outside the fort which is fine.

Historical place and nice architecture. Mainly the Penna river view so planet If you want to visit this place just carry your food or eat at near hotels because not available more at this place. Need to improve facilities.if you come by car, you can visits nearest water falls.
