I trekked this mountain in 2015 and then reached it again in 2023 with two brother riders. But this time I did not trek anymore. Now there are many food hotels here. Below the hill, there is a beautiful bathing arrangement of the water coming out of the hill. Very nice environment. Just love it.

Apart from trekking, there is rock climbing too. It took time approx 1-1:30hrs.. some people ruining this place by throwing plastic...don't do this, keep clean the place. The hill is very steeped from the front side. And we started climbing up from there. We went with my friends. While climbing up with in 20 minutes we all felt very very tired. My heart beat got increased and I didn't want to continue anymore, but my friends encouraged me to push more. I would suggest everyone to must carry water. when you reach the top of the mountain, your energy and sweet is worth spending when you see the view.. the view is awesome... You could see houses from far villeges and cars running through roads while enjoying the chill wind at the top.
It's my first time visit to a hill and had an extremely adventurous experience. The way to the hill was amidst dense forest which made it even more adventurous
While returning from our trip to purulia and mukutmanipur we decided to halt at Susunia hills also as it was in our way back to home only. There nothing much in this place but yes the trekking to the top of the Susunia hill is a fun ride. It takes two hours to go to the top. We didn't had time to go there as er were returning but yes the view must be magnificent from there. I did a walk for 5 mins up and down the hill which felt quite adventurous. There were many shops selling stone carved idols and household items. There was also a place called shilalipi which we couldn't find as card cannot go up to that rocky area. We were misguided by the locals also. It was a moderate experience at this place.
