It's a good place.. If anyone is planning to visit it... It's recommended to climb early in the morning... As it gets afternoon... It becomes difficult climb.

One of the lesser known temples in Avani area, must visit and good workout to reach the top, beautiful and calm place that is must visit to get Sharada Devi's blessings. Reach early so to get the glimpse of the idol and talk to the priest.

Amazing experience. Exquisite architecture, extremely simple yet a feast for the eyes of those who enjoy historical sites. Just 24 kms from Kolar. Some stretches are being metalled. Must visit the site temple on top of the hillock but not for the faint hearted. No eating options just a small shop with soft beverages and some munchies.

A beautiful temple dedicated to Goddess Shri Sharadamba near the Avani Temple complex..This temple is one of the main branches of Sringeri Matt. The entrance is small place, after passing through which, one would need to climb a flight of stairs to reach the small but beautiful sanctum of Shri Sharadamba. Would suggest visiting the temple on Friday or during Navratri as Alankara for Divine Mother would be one of the best a devotee can get to see during the year. The view from the temple sanctum is nice. Have seen even foreigner visit the temple. As the temple is very closeby the Avani Temple complex, walking distance..one can combine both temple visits on same day including Bangaru Tirupathi temple as well.

The famous Avani Shankar Matha is from this place. Nice temple in a calm area. Carry water and any other food as there are no hotels nearby.
