Shri Yoga Lakshmi Narasimhaswami Gudi - Hindu temple in Devarayana Durga - Tumakuru, India

The road is beautiful also the view from the temple is mind blowing. Few food stalls are there. Also parking area available . Around 2:30hrs from Bangalore. Afternoon time or morning time is best to visit the temple.

The place is amazing especially for sun rise and sun set... good for a one day trip.. from bangalore it will take only two hours and the roads are 90% good. No great hotels or stays are avaiable it's just a place to visit. If you want to just relax and feel calm from the busy city life, then this is the answer.. amazing view. Make sure you go behind this temple to explore more view and sit somewhere peacefully for sometime. I am adding some of that photos..

You have to climb up the steps to visit the temple on the ways there's a lot of monkeys they don't bother that much unless u have some flowers or fruits in your hand or anything like that visibly to it

Nice old place temple is places on the hills. We can drive through and climb 250 steps for the temple or we can climb the steps from starting also. Nice place with awesome view absolutely loved it

Temple with a view of beautiful surrounding landscape. You have trek path from begining of hill and also you can reach top by road and climb few steps.

A mythological site in Devarayanadurga, Tumkur. this place in the lap of nature. It is just 18 km from Tumkur. Behind the temple there is a pond and also a sunset point. Experienced wonderful view of the temple from outside as reached there by 7pm starting late.

The very famous Bhoga Lakshmi Narasimha Swami temple on Devarayanadurga. This is also called as Karigiri Kshetra. Though we visited on Saturday, darshan was very quick. Nearby there is a Sanjeeva raya swamy temple dedicated to lord Hanuman which is believed to be older than the main deity. The Yoga Narasimha Swami temple is atop the hill where you need to climb around 300 steps. There is a small pushkarini adjacent this temple. A must visit place

Temple is in a hillock, there is a steps from base about 2 KM trekking or you can drive to the top and claim about 300 steps. Temple is well maintained not much crowded. You can find large number of monkeys so carry a stick, avoid carrying food items in hand. Don't forget to notice the peepal tree grown in between the rock (nature is amazing).
