Shri Veerabhadreshwara Temple - Hindu temple in Humnabad - Bidar, India

Shri Veerabhadreswara swamy temple, is a Hindu Saivite temple and a famous religious destination situated at Humnabad Town. This temple was built by Raja Ramachandra Jadhav in 1725, app 300 yrs old temple. Sri Veerabhadreswara swamy, a form of Lord Shiva is the presiding deity here and the sanctum of the Idol is simply magnificent. This temple is famous for its moving pillar and has 2 tall lamp pillars about 50 feet high. This temple looks so elegant and beautiful and attracts many devotees from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka & Maharashtra. A huge gathering crowd is seen on Dasara Navaratri festival days and Jatara days. A huge space for car parking with a nominal fee is available here.

It's our culture home god and the place is ok to visit but it's good to visit between 20 -26 January of every year it's a festival here tq

Temple is beautiful. Only big shade made which hides the beauty of the temple. It could have been done in descent way so as to maintain the looks. Also pujari could not tell history of the temple! Someone told me that the temple is 800 years old, but I am not so sure about this info. Anyway worth going 1 km from highway and have Darshan

One of the famous and powerful places which is thousands of years old, the festival here is celebrated yearly in January month for 11 continuous days, i love this place

Very nice temple. Temple is clean and beautiful. There is big hall for function. Free food is served in Dasoham at night. Drinkable is also available. Rooms are available in Temple for temporary purpose.

Superb environment in Karnataka and once we step in into the temple feeling blessed and very peaceful. no trouble for tourists they will get everything they want surrounding of the temple is a huge market place bus station is around 2 to 3 kms from temple. Jawar roti in humnabad is the best roti i ever had. Must visit place once .
