Shri Sawaibhoj Temple Asind - Hindu temple in Asind, Chunginaka - Bhilwara, India

Very beautiful place of worship of bhagwan Devnarayan, Sadu mata and Sawai Bhoj Maharaj. Some historical places are also there and temple premises is very large and clean. The atmosphere was good and you can enjoy the taste of " Rabdi- Thick drink of flour and butter milk" . Very good place to visit, you should come before 6PM to enjoy the temple beauty.

Sawai Bhoj or Rawat Bhoj or Raja Bhoj Bagdavat was the most majestic heroic king of the Gurjar dynasty. He was the father of Lord Devnarayan ji, an incarnation of Vishnu. Bagdawat Bhai was a prince of the Chauhan dynasty of Ajmer. Sawai Bhoj's 24 brothers were ruling different princely states, Tejarawat was ruling Patan, Baghdawat Veer Nevaji Rawat was ruling Negadia, the princely state of 320 Garh was near Sawai Bhoj.

Nice and calm place, very religious atmosphere, good parking space, park and swings for children, rabdi bhandara is awesome but the lady there running bhandara doesn't seem to be interested in that work and having rude behaviour for visitors i don't know why. A great family trip with good picnic and camera spot..

When I visited it was a very peaceful environment. The temple itself is very easy to find. Pujaris and other temple workers were very pleasant. I reached around 7 PM and they invited me to wait till 8 AM pooja and then to have prasadam in the Sawai Bhoj Rasoi. In this temple campus there are multiple temples belonging to Shri Sawaibhoj, Shri Devnarayan and Mata Sadu.
