Shri Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple - Hindu temple in Shimla - Shimla, India

A nice Hanuman temple with a huge pink coloured statue of Bajrang Bali that has sort of become a landmark in the area. There are a lot of monkeys around so be careful with your items. The approach road is a very tough ride with narrow and hairpin turns. The best way to visit is via the cable car that starts from Mall Road. But you'll miss the experience of going up the stairs to reach the temple, which are well arranged. The temples inside are nice and you can get a few momento also. There was a clean shoe storage area with facility to wash feet which was clean and unique.

Beautiful Hanuman temple near Shimla with great views of Shimla and the valley. A very short walk from the road. The pathway to enter from the road was being constructed when we visited.

It is a nice temple on the way to Tara Devi temple. Very peaceful environment and not very crowded. From the back side of the temple you can have a great view of the city. Be aware of the monkeys :)

There is also prasad shop at the entrance so you can buy prasad from there.

Temple dedicated to Veera Hanuman Ji. Plenty of other deities are also there within this temple complex. The approach road is very narrow and steep from the main road. Quite a pleasant Darshan by first visiting the Ganesha temple, then Shiva temple & then Hanuman Ji's temple.
