The Renuka Mata Temple is very beautiful and pleasing. It heals our feelings. Jai Mata Di. Visited temple many times. For worshipping Renuka Mata, we need to climb the fort firstly by vehicle later, we need to climb 100-200 steps. Many shops are present beside the steps of the temple. The speciality of the temple is Kandi Pedha and Paan(Mixture).

There are three mountains in Mahur. The first one is having Renuka Mahar devi mata Temple, who is mother of the god Parshuram. Other two are called Datta Shikhar and Atri Anasuya Shikar Temples. Datta Shikhar is highest of all. Mahur has a sacred temple to Renuka Mata, which is considered one of the three and half Shakti Peethas (temples) in the state. A big fair is held here every year on the occasion of Vijayadashami.
It's quite nice but compare to other temples of Maharashtra it's very necessary to improve the entire environment and atmosphere of the temple...need plantation, cleaning, hospitality and other services...but it's a small request to all the people who come to mahur that keep it clean and be responsible person....
Mansoon this place is everything what we need. So peaceful and chilling place to trek and spend the time. Would love to visit again.

Excellent location, check in is 2pm to 2pm. Which is odd time. Those who come by train. All hotels are same check in time. This is having AC ROOMS and non AC rooms cost is 1500/-for ac and 1000for non AC. I visited in the month of August. It is cool
Hotel Devi pride good oyo hotel charges 1100 for AC room for 2 person. No restaurant facilities. But you can order from nearby restaurants. Location is opposite to mahur Bus Stand. One can hire Auto to visit RENUKA Mata Mandir.
