Shri Ranganatha Swamy Temple (Rangasthala) - Featured Reviews (1897)
Beautiful old template. My 1st visit and the architecture is really mind-blowing. Very peaceful as it has good lawn area outside. No entry fee. Worth visiting this place if your travelling arround this place.
One of the most beautiful and peaceful temples. This one is called as Moksha Ranga. The temple is more than 1000 years old. The deity of Ranganatha Swamy along with Sridevi and Bhoodevi is really good. It is carved out of a single saligrama stone. From the window hole you can see the feet of the lord. Every year on Makara Sankranthi festival, When the sun rises, the sun rays fall pass through the window and fall on lord's feet.
The place is filled with monkeys and one needs to be extremely careful around them. However, the temple is extremely serene. We visited the temple during the early hours of the day. It was beautiful. The idol worship, the morning shloka chant, the unique prasadam, all made the visit extremely memorable.
Lovely temple - which can be combined with a visit to the Isha foundation . A unique representation of Lord Ranganatha ( Vishnu in reclining posture ) with his consorts as well . The temple has good parking and is a km short drive from the main road . Monkeys are a plenty - so to ensure that they do not harm devotees or the sanctum , there is now a grill covering the entire main centre of the temple , which while practical is sadly robbing the temple centre of its beauty . Nevertheless a great stop over

The Shri Ranganatha Swami Temple (Rangasthala) is a peaceful place, away from all the chaos, where one can spend a good time amidst the serene forest and temple ambiance. However, be cautious of the abundance of monkeys in the area. Additionally, you can visit the nearby rose lands to capture some beautiful photos. The place is relatively less crowded, and you'll appreciate its cleanliness and fresh atmosphere
Lord moksha Ranganatha, during sankranti, sun rays fall directly on lords feet. Peaceful and calm place.
Ranganath temple located in remote village on the outskirts of Bangalore gives you goosebumps with the architecture. The temple is more than 1000 years old and caters bhagwan vishnu on shesh naaga. The gopuram is.huge and similar to the bhoga nandishwar temple in nandi village near by. It opens between 7am - 1pm and 4 pm - 7 pm Jai shree Vishnu
