Very ancient and our family deity.. Visiting this place gives a peaceful mind and we get a feeling as if visiting our ancestors.. Now they have developed this temple with facilities. This is an ancient temple where amma parvathi came here from Kanchi to do meditation for shiva, when she was here all nature turns into Green color including amma, so this amma call as Pachaiamman (Amma in Green color). This is beautiful and peaceful place. There is tree where Ramana Maharshi stayed with his followers under that tree when there was a plague in tiruvannamalai.
