The best ancient temple in the historical village Lakkundi. Daily Pooja rituals are not being made. Cleanliness is maintained in a perfect manner. A lawn in the temple premises is created and maintained outstanding.

This 11th century architectural marvel located right opposite to Kashi Vishweshwara temple. This temple is also maintained by ASI and is well gated and cleanly maintained. The main attraction of the temple is the mantapa which stand on beautifully carved pillars which is open on three sides and the forth side opens to the garbha griha. The pillars, roof and walls have ornate carvings. The temple premises has lot of space to spend time on the lawn. Best time to visit is during winter and rainy seasons.

This is one of the 6 monuments preserved by the Government of India in Lakkundi.It is believed to be built around the mid 11 th century by the Chalukyas and stands next to the beautiful Kasivisvesvara Temple.The temple is constructed over a raised platform. It consists of an open hall with highly ornate pillars. This hall ends in a small closed hall that leads to the sanctum which houses a Shiva Linga.

The Nanneshwara Temple is located in the famous temple town of Lakkundi in the Gadag district of Karnataka State, India. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Based on an inscription found in this temple, it can be dated back to second half of the 12th century A.D. Needs some maintainance. Otherwise nice temple. Temple has pillars each carved differently. Linga is also beautiful.
