Shri Mahima Ranganathaswami Temple - Hindu temple in Mahimapura - Ramanagara, India

Easy climb to the top. One gets rewarded with a panoramic view of hills, farms and greenery. Temple was closed on Sunday. Good for a sunrise or sunset hike (takes less than 10 minutes to reach the top - around 350 steps)

Great temple. Lord Vishnu is seen here as a small black stone here. There is Lord Hanuma temple in the base and ranganatha swamy temple on the hillock. 300 steps to reach top and view ll be great as we hike up. When we visited this temple, it was in renovation state on the hill top, although one can visit it. Good view of Shivagange, Kachkal Betta, Heggunda Hill is seen clearly from this hilltop.

The best place for mini trip and devotional visit at the same time. To reach temple we have to climb steps, it may be around 350 steps. Better to climb the steps before 10AM where the heat is less and calm weather. While climbing up you can feel breeze and can feel greenery which are pleased to eyes. You can watch sunset and sunrise from this temple. You can view a super view of Shivagange hills. Totally a beautiful place to visit with a family.

The most ancient temple with deep history and the temple top is cool and calm very gud for one day trip if included with shivgange To reach Hill top u need to climb around 150-180 steps The god Mahima Ranganatha swamy is very powerful and this temple is special because everywhere the diety will be in sleeping position but here the diety is in standing position.

A very good place for a short trip from Bangalore. But should be avoided this year 2023 visit, as alteration and construction activity is undertaken..
