Shri Mahalaxmi Yatri Niwas Lodging Dormitory - Hotel in Kolhapur - Kolhapur, India

The lodge is from 1st floor and up. We checked in at 11 pm. Some flooring work was going on ground floor and it was causing heavy noise and disturbance. It went beyond 12 am. We informed manager to ask the concerned to stop it but lodge manager tried to ignore it. When we asked again 2 times he went and informed them to stop it. I told the team that i will have to complain for it to poli5, they said it will stop in 15 minutes. But still it went on until 1 am. The lodge managet neither offered us refund nor much help. Finally we told that we will check out otherwise, then he offered 3rd floor room, which again had it's issue of bed cracking noise. We had to beat with it. This affected our sleep and next day schedule. When i informed this to other customer who checked in in the morning, the lodge staff was upset with this too. Overall, a bad experience.

Room available only on 3rd floor. No elevator Not refundable advanced booking Rs 500.00 they kept as a donation from me. They don't know marathi language. Very difficult. All management from south only.

Quite reasonable priced rooms. Good for one day stays. Quite nearby with walking distance to Lakshmi Temple.

I was with my family & in laws. We all were totally exhausted due to constant travel & I was feeling dizzy due to almost 10 hours of driving. On 26 June 2017 upon checking in only we realized the toilet was filthy & was not attached to the room. Immediately within 5 mins we vacated the room however to my surprise not a single rupee out of the Rs. 900/- (Receipt No 081) I paid was returned to me. Room cancelations are day to day routine activities everywhere, maybe the cancellation charges could differ. I was expecting some percentage of penalty for room cancellation & rest to be repaid to me. Mr. Sanju Kajawe who was responsible for my booking called someone (who he told was the owner of the Bhakt Niwas) & handed over the phone to me. The guy on the phone told me it's not possible to return the money. Mr. Bhosale request you to help me at the earliest possible. Mahesh Patil Mumbai

Rooms are neat and clean.staff is also good.near to temple.entry from mahadarwaja side is convenient.rates are also reasonable. Narrow entry to lodge is some what inconvenient...but not matter much as u R getting good lodge that too near to mandir. Try hotel 'Vyanjan' for nice maharashtrian food.it is next to ganesh mandir.

The Hotel is very very close to Temple . It's budget hotel. Very good accommodation, but the service is not proper, after you give a call for any require it comes after 20 min.My room's washroom was not clean and dust bin was kept unclean till checkout.After giving continuous reminder to manager and to Mr Bhosle still there was no response. Living these rest you enjoy staying.Myself was upset only for service.
