Shri Ladies Hostel - Working Women's Hostel in Chennai - Chennai, India

1. Pg is too far from main road, 2. Bunk beds for 4,6 sharing and no rooms for 1,2 sharing. No 3 sharing available. 1 sharing is a big room portioned with cardboard and the next person can hear your every move and talk. Basically its 1 room with cardboards. 3. Too hot in chennai and rooms are very small, and 1 fan, so its very bad. 4. Smelly rooms 5. Dirty + Sharing bathroom. Imagine 10-20 ppl will go in 1 bathroom. 6. No ac rooms. In this kind of place if you want to pay 800rs per day, you can go ahead. And the monthly rate + deposit is very high. Don't go here and waste your time and petrol.

I have been staying in this hostel for past 3 years... Safety - 5/5 (Safety comes first when we consider women's hostels - This hostel has CCTV surveillance, Security guard) Food - 4/5 (Tamil food can't satisfy my taste buds since I'm a Keralite; otherwise good. ***They also provide evening snacks***) Hygiene - 5/5 (Really better when comparing to other nearby hostels - Routine cleaning inspections are conducted by hostel management staffs which is really appreciable) Hostel CRM team can be contacted via phone or Email in case of complaints.

Past 3 yrs I am staying in this hostel.. Yearly once rent will be increased. Permanent manager not there. Totally 10 manager's changed. Reason for I am staying here is Food and Cleaning.. Cooking taste is good and healthy.. Electric items not allowed.. Most of working women's staying here...Also for washing machine not included in your rent. If u use one time should pay 50rupess.. Now I am vacated due to high rent I stayed at 2 sharing rent they charges initially 7000 March Month suddenly management increased a rent without proper reason. Now 2 sharing room rent as 8500 . For me money is not big thing to pay but room is look like kitchen it's not worth for 8500. I asked for this but no one response properly. After lots of arguments they never agree to reduce the rent and without my permission these people ready for vacating my room . So I vacate my hostel Apr Month. My humble request if anyone join hostel pls think all aspects especially rent. Cooking and cleaning - 5/5

Shri Ladies hostel and its staff are friendly in nature, they listen & understand our queries and solve accordingly & immediately. For safety and cleanliness I would give 5/5. Food is excellent. Feels like home. By far One of the best Ladies hostel in Ramapuram. I would definitely refer it to my friends.

About hostel Timing: I felt safe when I am in hostel .. timing they set was very strict . management not allow us to get into hostel after 10oclk even it is 10.1 itself . About hostel manager: manager "Shabana" who is very friendly with the people and she will sort out the problem as soon as possible. About Food: Food is good ..

Hostel is neat and clean with friendly environment. it gives a home feeling and its safe and secure . Food is also good and tasty and healthy. Staff is very friendly and helpful and caring. its also very close to DLF IT park and walk able distance and its good for my stay

I like the hostel,food, cleaning everything except the staff.the reason for giving single star is only because of CRM Divya . The worst behaviour I've ever seen.not responsible for the work.if we do any complaint not just caring of that.then what is the purpose of her to be here.actually my sister was there before 6 months.that time jancy and priya was there.they were good at work with complete of all the complaints.but sheif she is been here everyone will get hate the hostel because of her.

Good environment. Nice staffs. Like to stay with this hostel as its a new building, rooms are pretty good and the cleaning service is great. Food is hygienic and good varieties with evening snacks. Feel like being at home.
