Shri Kelbai Devi Temple mayem - Hindu temple in Maem - North Goa, India

Aur village temple... Nice place in the village of Mayem... this is also one of the oldest temple in Mayem Village... Devi Kelbai is considered as the eldest sister of Shree Dev Khetoba... There is a nice idol of Shree Devi Kelbai in the temple... Everyday aarti takes place at 12:PM and it's peaceful to witness this aarti... Every year jatra takes place here in the month of April...

It's just mesmerizing beautiful temple Development is going on but people are cooperative and hope to visit again.

Really really hard to find this place as it is in core of maem village, also they have many Kelbai Mandir in Goa, but this one is the original and many festivals take place here, some people aren't much helpful they won't help,some are really helpful, I mean most people here in Goa aren't that helpful towards tourist to tell atleast them the address of place. But anyways the Idol of Devi Kelbai is Beautiful and you can attend the Aarti of Mandir it takes place btwn 12 - 12:30 or may be little late, the Area is pretty big and mandir is under construction (5th Jan 2023) and is really big, it will be much beautiful after completion. It's a remote place better get a personal Auto/Car/Bike for visit.

This temple is situated in Bicholim village of North Goa. It's a temple of a Goddess 'Kelbai', relevant to a particular community of the Kokan belt of Maharashtra. But anyone can visit for Darshan. The temple is open for a limited time in the around 10 to 1 in the morning. So, you have to plan your visit. Also, carry all the puja things like flowers, Agarbatti, Prasad, coconut etc. as this is a small village and you won't get it around the temple like other temples.
