Shri Kannan Departmental Store - Department store in Tiruppur - Tiruppur, India

This store has been bought by the Reliance group and we were able to see few reliance products inside. In front of the store we will see kannan departmental board only .Some of the products I find it's nearing expiry. Hope this store owners will replace them. Just two payment counters and it will be very difficult for customer during weekends. They won't provide any Cary bags here and outside one service person will pack the things for you in carton boxes. If there are too many people we need to wait for too longs time. Parking space is Compact for both cars and two wheelers. Customer service is normal and we are expecting better from the employees working there . Reliance is managing this. Very reasonable prices. I doubt about parking, because I saw vehicles parked on the narrow road only. Location is cramped though the building is Big.

I bought cookies today under the offer buy one get one!!! And when I opened there was a worm eggs which really badddddd .. for them business is more important than humans health... Then why the government letting people like them to do this business... I understand that this store has been bought by the Reliance group of Mukesh Ambani. They have retained a few of the old staff, but mostly all useless people. "if you give peanuts..." applies here, but they can't afford to give much is also a fact. All same products you see in all stores, including Kirana stores, you find anywhere in India. I didn't find any attractive offers also, except for Soft drinks. Just two payment counters and they are very slow and irritating, rather inefficient. They keep a few products beyond the payment counter. Hence a few Security guys open your bags and check item as per bill, as if, you could have stolen something from the products kept outside. This is terribly annoying and irritating and lots of your time is also wasted, even after paying your bill. Saw minor skirmishes and verbal abuse with some customers. Good parking for both cars and two wheelers. If you have lots of time to waste...

The sales person was literally nagging us to buy a packet of rice which she demanded to have 2 free packets with it. But all the 3 is billed. Very bad customer service too.. had to call them 4 times after choosing language tamil i had to speak in English just because executive is busy...

Some important groceries are not available. Prices are not so cheaper when compare with D Mart. But for some items the prices are ok.

You are not getting all your brands after the takeover of reliance. Long queues waiting for billing.
