In the Skanda Purana, the legend unfolds, Of Agnimukh's son, by a demon controlled. Hara and Hari, the protectors wise, Guided him to Devi Kamakshi, the deity who defies. With a bolt, she struck the demon's might, In defeat, he retreated, vanquished from sight. In gratitude, Agnimukh pleaded her stay, And in Rai, she resides till this very day.

Location and stay was fantastic ! We booked a couple room , but when we reached there we got to know that it has shared bathroom We spoke with Mr.Ranjeet , and he moved us to family suite which is incredible ! Also he helped me throughout my journey
The infrastructure is very good and has 24x7 ambulance service and over all the whole campus of the health center is very clean and every thing is nicely arranged .It is run by Government of Goa
Varity Spices found at reasonable rate, it's just difficult to park car. I would suggest park your vehicle before you get into market area as it's a narrow road.
