Jai Sri Jagannathji Sri Jagannathji Bhagwan Temple is situated near Jamalpur Darwaza on the bank of Sabarmati River in Ahmedabad. It was founded about 460 years ago by Shri Hanumandasji Maharaj. After the renovation of the temple many times, today there is a beautiful and magnificent temple. Lord Shri Jagannathji is seated in this temple along with his sister Shri Subhadraji and his elder brother Shri Balabhadraji. Every year on Ashadi Bija, Lord Shri Jagannathji, Ben Subhadraji and Bhai Balabhadraji go on a Nagar Yatra which is known as Rath Yatra. Buttermilk is made from the milk of the cows in the cowshed of this temple and it is also distributed free of cost. There are also many elephants near Sri Jagannathji's temple which are seen from time to time with their mahant on the way to Ahmedabad. An inn has also been arranged here for the pilgrims coming from outside Gujarat.

This place is on main road and you found parking spot very easy. Also police personnel are there to help .there is buttermilk provide as a prasad. It's made by tempal gaushala. Also bhojan prasad is available at time of afternoon. Daytee are so beautiful. And also golden wreping work Is so amazing. Garudji is carved over there. And also garudji murti neare guru maharaj, in front of jagannath ji. So it's very calm and energetic place . We shoud visit offen this temple.

It was established 150 years ago by Swami Narsimha Das ji who came here from Ayodhya. His vigrah is right in front of Jagannath shrine. Present priest is his 5th generation. A peepal tree grows right in the middle of the entrance stairway. It looks awesome. The premises have large guest house building for devotees. very good facility..
