You can see both forts from this end. Beautiful place to experience sunset
I used to visit this place every Sunday and my experience with this place is like finding peace in a choas. The Mandir is situated at some altitude and from the murud beach and distance is also walkable. When you reach at the top ,you can see the whole murud at glance, coconut trees are surrounding the whole murud. Those green platues looks amazing especially in the monsoon and if you want to experience different sunset view then do come here. And the most important thing The Shri Gurudev Datta Mandir is soothing and one of the holy place in Murud.
One of the most peaceful places you can be at in Murud. Visit in the evening time so that you get to see sunset also from here. You can just sit and be amidst nature and have a great sense of peace and calmness. If you are driving a car here, please be slightly careful as its single lane road and not developed road. It's not at all crowded and best place to experience calmness.
The temple is nearby from Murud beach. There is a beautiful view of surrounding area. Both forts (Janjira and Padmadurg) can be seen from this point.
This is one of the oldest temple in Murud village. There are two ways to reach out, one by steps wherein you may have to climb around 500 steps. . Other way to reach is by vehicle, you may take your own vehicle or can hire autos from auto stand. They may charge you depending upon waiting time. . Temple is run by trust and has well maintained. There are fairs organised up near temple on occasions of Datta Jayanti. . They have also build rest house for devotees on 100 meters distance from temple. . The best of part of being in temple surrounding area is that you get to have a look at all surrounding sides of Murud. One side you can see the river and mountain. One side you can see surrounding villages and dam. . Other side you can see both the historical water forts in one frame with the beach. . So... Don't miss this place if you are in Murud.
Good place for a morning hike to view the sea from a height or even watch stars during night.
The best view point on the Murud Janjira road. The drive isn't too bad up the small hillock. They have kindly added benches for you to sit for hours and savour the same

One of the old temples in murud janjira...3 minutes walking distance from murud beach.. this place is near the police Station... koteswari mata is a gramdevata of murud janjira.. the temple is very attractive...this place is very peaceful..
Went with family (13 members) for 2 nights. Hardly a minute walk to beach from hotel. Restaurants are also nearby. Staff is very helpful and we all loved our staycation in Sawali Niwas.
Excellent accommodation and food. Room was very clean and spacious. Plenty of greenery inside the premises. Owner is very cooperative and friendly. A little far from the beach but otherwise exceptional!
The food quality is amazing and price to quantity ratio is perfect. The location on the map is not accurate hence you need to ask around to get there.. If you are planning to visit Murud Janjira fort, you can stop here for lunch..
Very nice place to visit and stay. The atmosphere in Mamachi wadi is very cool due to so many baanana tress and betel trees. We all enjoyed, also this place is good for photo shoot. Mama, we are coming again.

The beach is Great and not so deep. Calm sea with lots of water activities starting from Rs300 to Rs600 per person. But the beach is full of wet sand and you cannot find any dry sand patch, so no point in bringing sand toys for kids. A dolphin watchi
