Shri Gaalikere Kencharaaya Swami Temple - Hindu temple in Dattathreyapeeta - Chikkamagaluru, India

This temple is a bit under explored at the baba budan giri peak. The lake is calm and there is a small temple. This place is less crowded. It can be reached by bike and jeep, not possible by normal car. There is offroad patch which would not be accessible by normal car. My visit on 11oct22

You can reach upto a level where there will be a path with two walls on both side of road. Except off road cars, don't try to take your car there. The place will be awesome for sceneries.

Must visit place. Less crowded, calm and peaceful.

Great location and Trek

This place is just mesmerising the small pond in between the mountains and the view is just a thing not to miss. I visited this place recently and they have built fence around the lake and painted it blue and there is a lot of garbage which is been thrown all around. Please keep the place clean and green. Do not litter

Was a virgin lake a decade ago. One of most peaceful locations ive ever visited.
