This a a beautiful temple out in open. In the opposite of the temple is Hidameshware temple on the top of the rock. People used to sacrifice male buffalo here. And the twin pillars in the font of the temple were used to put a swing for the devi.

The temple is open only 3days a week and it's Monday ,Wednesday and Friday. We can see eknatheshwari pada in the 5th door near the tree . Yearly once, people of Chitradurga sacrifice male buffalo to keep Devi in peace. People smear the blood of male buffalo on the pada of ekanatheshwari devi.
