Beautiful temple of Lord Balram also known as Dauji Maharaj. There is no electricity inside the temple and can only be seen via lamps/diya's. Very beautiful idol and architecture. No entry ticket.

Shri Dau Ji Maharaj- Beloved brother of Lord krishna i.e Balaram ji Maharaj Dauji Maharaj ki Mandir or Baldeo temple is one of the famous temple in northern indian located within 20-25kms mathura,in a place called Lauhavan. This is Krishna's and Balaram's cattle grazing site. The beautiful diety of Baldeo ji was established by Vajranabh Ji( Great grandson of Lord krishna from Yadu dynasty). The is another diety of Mother Revati ji (Wife of Balaram ji) inside the temple sanctum sctorum in front of Dau ji seated looking lowered down showing respect. It is said that Mughal emperor Aurangzed tried to destroy Dau ji temple and dieties here like he did to other hindu temples in and around the Northern part india. Then later the diety of Dauji was found from Ksheersagar Kund situated close to the temple. And thereafter he was reinstalled here by Sri Gokul nath Goswami, the grandson of Srimad Vallabhacharya ji ( founder of Vallabhacharya sampradaya- one of Vaishnav sampradyas in India) around 480 years ago. Along with other festivals that are being celebrated here,one of the famous festival here is Holi celebrated as famous Huranga or Phoolon ki holi. Devotees from all over the country even from outside come to celebrate the festival of holi here as well as the other parts of Mathura and Vrindavan to have some mesmerising experience for the lifetime. Mishri prasad offerings are very famous here,as devotees offer mishri to Baldeo ji. One shouldn't forget to relish them when you go in. - Shri Radhey

You will get besieged by people asking, nay demanding to know where you are from. They will then use this info to tell you who from your family visited the temple and extort money from you. I told them that I was from a place they had never heard of. The confused look on their faces was extremely satisfying. Tanatan Chai wala is a jolly fellow who makes excellent tea. On the whole, a great experience.
