Shri Dakshina Kashi Vishwanatha Swamy Temple - Featured Reviews (504)
Old beautiful temple. Well maintained and clean. There are too many monkeys here. Just be aware of them. They snatch anything in your hands. Make sure all things are inside a bag or something. There is a person outside temple to look after your shoes from monkeys and charges about Rs20 per pair of shoes
A beautiful place to visit and enjoy with children. The temple is at hill top and the path is having Nice views around. The temple deities Sri Viswanathar and Ammavaru are blessings to see and worshipped. Water is continuously pouring into the pond from hill top. Water falls can be enjoyed in rainy season. Trekking to the hill top caves is also there for enthusiasts. Lots of monkeys. Parking is at the downhill.
One of the best calm and positive vibe temple I ever visited . You should drive around 4 kms from kolar city to reach the temple. There is trek place near the temple if you want to do some adventures. And there are so many monkeys out there so be careful while going. Take one stick with you but please don't hit the monkeys with the stick

Best trekking place and exploring the caves is the best.... better to carry very less weight, wear proper shoe, go early on the morning and it starts at 6 am... Anthargange - This beautiful rocky hill range is situated at about 1226 Meters (4021ft.) high in Kolar district around Bangalore. The Anthargange trek is one of the most coveted trekking spots near Bangalore. Anthargange hill is completely surrounded by boulders. Anthargange Sunrise Trip is an unforgettable experience in terms of trekking and cave exploration. The trek which is around 3 km in length, you will find it to be pretty moderate as the trek starts with finding a way through broken rocks and tricky path in the boulders to finally arrive at the cave site to explore. The experience at the Anthargange cave takes you back to prehistoric times. All the efforts and wait pays off right after the completion of the trek when you get to witness the mesmerizing sunrise from atop the mountain. And, if luck favors, you might catch a glimpse of some wild animals around. As the dusk fades away, make your way back through the cave to the base
Beautiful temple located in outskirts of Kolar. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva . There is also a water pond/ source beside the temple believe to be coming from Kaashi. It's a must visit temple as it feels Devine. There is ample parking for 2 and 4 wheelers. There are restroom which are kind of well maintained.
The temple is really a great experience. It is around 150 steps and there is a nandi shila from which the water flows. The temple is not very grand or big but is a great mindful place.
Antara Gange (also known as Anthargange) is a mountain situated in the Shathashrunga mountain range in the southeastern portion of the Indian state of Karnataka, Kolar district. Antara Gange literally means "Ganges from deep" in Kannada. It is about two miles from the town of Kolar and seventy kilometers from Bangalore. Antara Gange is famous for Sri Kashi Vishweshwara temple, also known as Kashi of South. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. In the temple is a pond which gets a continuous flow of underground water from the mouth of a Basava (stone bull). It is believed that drinking water from the pond cleanse one from many diseases. Antara Gange temple Way to Antar Gange caves is a steep and narrow path behind the temple to top of the mountain. (Now, the entry to the caves is restricted) The caves are 3-4 km from the temple. There are seven villages on this mountain, including Therhalli. The mountain consists of granite rocks and lot of caves around. Trekking in and around caves is popular here. But if you want to do trekking here you need to book it before came to here and it costs 350 to 500 per person. I don't know why they charges for trekking. Nature is for everyone but those people not allow you to go up to the hills without pay. From Kolar Bus stand to Antaragange is just 2 to 3 Km distance but if you want to go buy Auto you need to pay 150 Rs or 30Rs per person. In Antaragange Hills you can see so many monkeys. There will be more chances that monkeys will attack the people. So visitors need to be more careful and Don't behave like monkey infront of monkeys.
