Recently visited for my cousin's muNddn ceremony. The place is an oasis of serenity within the bustling city. The greenery around the temple soothes the soul, although the famous turtle pond has been closed off from the visitors as of now :'/ (also seems like the pond needs a bit of cleansing, the water is super murky) The white building looks stunning with the vibrant backdrop of mother nature. I honestly hope they will rightfully preserve and look after the precious ecosystem of this place.

Good place for worshippers who come here for fulfilling their desires. They offer Bhog ( rice, vegetables, milk etc.) and receive Prasad after few hours. The temple authority is disciplined in maintaining good atmosphere here. The pond adjacent to the temple is a home for many tortoises who are believed to be holy and sacred.

Baneshwar temple is a temple where devotees worship Lord Shiva and there are a plenty of turtles at a pond nearby who are called "Mohan" by devotees. The place offers other ritual services like Marriage, funeral, annaprashan and upanayan etc along with regular Bhoga bitaran on Saturday Sunday and Tuesday.
