The hand wash ambiance, seating floor and maintenance was pathetic. It's always crowded but the food tastes bad. The quantity of the sides is very little. The rates are very costly. Chat Combos are served here but it's not satisfying in taste. The sambhar rice was okay but the quantity was less . The place was not clean and no tissue papers were placed. The service is okay. I could not recommend this hotel to others..

Easily one of the best food joints in Pondy Bazaar. Ambience: Lots of activity always with inflow and outflow of guests. Go for A/C hall if you prefer silence. Food: Great taste especially their dosas Variety: Wide variety Service: Always ready to serve with a smile. What you give is what you get. Price: Very high value for money

I have been to this place a lot of times since childhood. This restaurant has both AC and non AC halls. The food is very tasty and the rate is economical. During weekends and peak hours it is very crowded and we might have to wait in the queue. My all time favourite is the idly vadai combo, but all their south indian tiffin options are a must try. The coffee is good. Must visit when around pondybazaar.

We visited the place at about 7:30 AM on a typical Saturday and the food was really nice. I ate 4 idlis with sambar and chutney and the food was really filling. The filter coffee was also really tasty. I will definitely come here again for breakfast.

Nice pure veg restaurant... lot of veg variant of famous non-veg delicacies like Kari dosai, idli salna,.. tried Kari dosai, tasty

Went to Balaajee Bhavan at night. The restaurant is always busy because it's located at Pondy Bazaar. The service is good but sometimes it takes longer. We had dahi puri, chapati and plain roast. The dahi puri came first and was really tasty. The dosa and chutneys tasted good. The chapati was okay but the kurma was just so-so. The food was served on banana leaves which was good.

Based on prior good experience, visited again and to my wonder everything has been pathetic & worst in AC hall first floor. First the staff are so lethargic and not pleasing to serve for customers. Second ordered food was just oily oily to the core and tasteless including the veg biryani, noodles and gobi gravy creating a vomiting sensation for all. Third, cockroaches moving around the table or food, but staff claims to be from table. Rotten food and third class, waste of money. By the time I could capture video or pic of the moving cockroach, the staff cleared it as I called them showing to alert the inconveniences. Lastly, the billing had 4 extra items due to their communication and coordination issue for which they added further inconvenience making wait. Not sure if this review will be of help to someone, but sincerely request owner to not do further sin knowingly or unknowingly in your life as you will only go to Hell by looting in doing only money making by compromising of quality and services. So please fear from God and do some basic correction by thinking of your future generation as not to suffer with your sins. Pathetic and worst, spoiled my entire good day after dining here.
