A nice temple. Has a clean surrounding. Very calm and quiet. One can experience a peaceful and divine feeling.
This is always a beautiful visit for us. The peace and quiet is unmatched. Good provision for parking, washrooms and in general very clean. The approach road is narrow but not a problem for SUVs as well.
Use Google map to avoid recent changes on roads. Devalay has Bhakt Niwas. Rooms are spacious.
Temple premises is cleanly maintained. Rooms are available for visitors as well as for kulavi. Sanitation is carried out properly. Someshwara temple is also located within the premises of this temple. A shop is located just at the entrance of the temple, you may get some fresh juices there.

Shree AryaDurga Temple, one of the most beautiful place.
Family deity worshipped by a section from Gouda Sarswath Brahmins (GSB) Konkani speaking community. Its an old temple with a history attached to it, like many other temples in Goa and its surrounding. Suffered badly during Portugal invasion in Goa & due to destruction of temples and conversion to Christianity. Sadly our history books doesn't have any mention of the atrocities afflicted by the invaders (Mughal, British, Portugal) at the most it may have a passing remark. Now most of the temples that were destroyed are slowly regaining its past glory. I highly recommend to visit such temples in and around Goa.
Very serene and peaceful, Temple dedicated to the local deity. It is a short and wonderful drive from Gokarna. You can also just sit down for a bit in the courtyard.
