SHREYAS HOSPITAL - Hospital in Secunderabad - Medchal Malkajgiri, India

Very worse experience. Took my wife for a 6th week pregnancy issue (bleeding) around 7:30am. Asked to admit her by the duty doctor as Dr. Madhavi mam won't be available until 2pm. As we were unaware of the seriousness of her condition, we agreed to get admitted. Wife was perfectly fine health wise but was given 2 units of IV (to show she was in need of it). When asked why does she need it, all I got was a shrug and smile. Only 2-3 senior nurses know how to setup the IV. Rest of them (junior nurses? or staff) have no clue to even set the fluid pace. It literally took 5 in-person visits to keep pushing the staff to check the IV pace for 75mins (why? - they wanted the senior nurse to help/guide). Dr. Madhavi mam was busy checking on the OP's while all the IP's had to spend hours waiting for her 1min of time. After 6-7 requests, we finally were blessed with her visit to visit us in the room at 3:45pm. Until that time, staff won't have a clue on when the doctor would do the rounds. It's just... waiting! Doc spent a good 40 secs and said we should go through the US scan (which we have been waiting since morning as that's the standard check). After another 75mins of wait (internal push to allow us as we been waiting since morning unlike the OP walk-ins), it was done finally. Now during this wait nurse was unsure if wife can go to washroom or hold to allow for few other checks. It's again a wait to seek permission from doc to pee. To get the report, it was another 1.5 hour wait - to be told that wife needs to get aborted as there was no change in foetus growth or lower position, from the prior visit a week ago. Now the options were: Go by abortion with 1. medication 2. surgically. When asked what she would suggest.. doc said medication should be first choice which we agreed to. We were given 1 oral and 4 vaginal tablets by the doc and instructions on how to go about it. We were asked if we would like to stay back for another day for which we disagreed and requested for discharge. All this took 140 secs. For the discharge, now it's another 2 hours of wait as staff were preparing the reports. Here, we were asked to pay some 'Procedural Charges' and when asked what does that mean at reception, receptionist asked to check with doc. Asked duty doc and she asked to check with Dr. Madhavi mam. It's another 25mins of wait only to get an answer that it's the charge for her consultation and those 5 tablets. Boom! We would have rather come in as an OP, get the consultation, scans and all talk done in less than 4 hours and at 65% less cost at the same hospital. Felt like insulted and looted. Beyond money, it's the unending wait, uncertainty (lack of prompt action), lack of trained staff, mosquitoes.. to add to the experience. Spent 12.5 hours on a week day taking leave and leaving aged parent and kid. Infra: 1 star for a hospital at this price range and location. My local clinics are far better. Cleanliness: 0 star (Aayah requests money at the time of discharge which reflected government ward rooms). Get rid of mosquitoes, stains. Keep the hand soaps and sanitizer's in place (than make us walk another end to get a sanitiser). Dr. Madhavi mam: Heard she was good and Google reviews tell the same. Our initial experience last year was the good too. However, I should admit that the pressure sinks in when you have a lot of OPs on a given day and her attitude changes with that. Unpleasant but true. Few others said the same. Mam- please have another experienced doc alongside you than you doing everything from consultation-scanning-management with the kind of footfall in your hospital. You won't be able to focus or do justice to your precious role in this society. This is not a free advise but our experience! We value your expertise but not with this type of experience. You would have realised this when I walked away without a word when you said it's your consultation charge (Procedural charges). We are ready to pay for your consultation but not for this worse experience.

One of the worst experience I had for my wife pregnancy. Lab specialist are not professional.Couldn't even determine blood group correctly. Madhavi Gynaecologist doesn't even bother to provide suggestions or correct treatment and consults the patients from distance by safeguarding herself and sitting behind a glass shield. Feels like we are under privileged and untouchable makes us sit far from her. Had a blood test and post reports informed us that Doctor had examined and informed everything is fine. We collected physical reports from hospital and showed it another doctor. My wife had urine infection and they suggested medicines which cured the urine infection.Initially as well even though my wife informed that she had vaginal bleeding, she did not care to examine or provide suggestions for specific treatment. We approached another doctor and got operated and problem was taken care. If we had listened to Dr Madhavi and continued it could have worsened my wife's pregnancy and created complications. One of the worst doctors I have come across. Suggest everyone to avoid going to her. She does not show any empathy or care towards her patients or her staff. Very reserved and just checks the baby inside the womb and writes prescription. Now I am getting my wife treated at a different hospital who operated for her vaginal bleeding.

Please don't choose to visit hospital I know Dr madhavi giving Good treatment but the hospital management and waiting times and staff and very hard and rud Specially working people who adjust there times in office for visiting hospital on Appointment - its not work and don't come back for showing reports and again same process as you comming to hospital numbering..... We come with patient attainder become patient by waiting long hours...... My best suggestion is reach government hospital.... Instead of so call this pvt hospital...

I opted for insurance in shreyas hospital Karishma helped me a lot with the process. Dr Bindu Madhavi madam is very professional and taken very good care of my wife during the entire process and she waited for few hours for normal delivery. Overall great hospital for people opting for normal delivery.

All about the timings of doctor and rude behaviour of mrs.Shobha receptionist , she don't even bothered to call doctor and rude behaviour with the people as she don't care and she is there to make a payments that's it. After taking an appointment we have been waiting for 2 hrs to consult doctor, I will not suggest this hospital which is located in ECIL Shreya's hospital.

It's a good hospital and have well explained doctors. They can also have nice admin room service.

Pathetic to see mosquitoes in ICU and hospital rooms with patients in it . It's worse to see hospital management being so irresponsible towards patients or attendees in this regard. The services offered are really bad. I strongly do not recommend this hospital considering the hygiene and poor services.

Definitely i recommend this hospital..very genuine ..the best part is she recommends only normal delivery unlike other hospitals. Definitely it is a go to hospital
