Hands down the best Andhra (Nellore) style biriyani in Mysuru. Authentic perfect flavourful taste. Quantity, quality, service - excellent Been visiting since a decade & still drool over the biriyani.

Well I heard alot about this place. Finally went there. And it was good. The menu is pretty simple it's highlight is biryani and tandoori items, no Kerala parota. It would be a great experience if you go with family or friends. Old is gold restaurant. Definitely a must visit restaurant.
No drinks or smokes in dining hall. IMPORTANT TIP "order what you want and how much you want don't ask others for suggestions, it is a pretty straight forward menu"
I looked at reviews and came here, but they failed me. Starters were not good, both chicken and Gobi Manchurian were bad. Biryani was great, fried rice and curd rice were great. Ambience not good. Not very clean environment. It is not really a restaurant experience and quality.
They serve one of the best mutton biryani in mysore .... tastes more like a biryani in Chennai rather than the one in Andra..

This is my first visit to this place with my friends, But heard that it quite famous for mysore folks. We ordered Mutton biriyani, Chilli chicken & Chicken kebab.
Mutton Biryani was excellent and ultimately delicious. Mutton was too good and soft.
But was disappointed with rest of the dishes.
Ordered lemon soda and that was horrible taste.
It is totally family place and can hang out with friends.
Big place but congested seating.
