Very tasty and soft idlis. They are made freshly and served with one of the most delicious red chutneys you could have with idli. Used to visit the place regularly around 15 years back. They had the same taste when visited now. Highly recommended place. Their snacks are also great.

Big Fat Thatte Idli at Shri Vishnu Refreshment in Domlur Price-Rs30 for single Idli Rs10 for Filter Coffee Small eatery in Domlur serving only two items- Thatte Idli and Coffee. There idli is thick af yet prous enough to soak up all the flavours of chutney. One idli is enough to full fill your stomach. The batter is perfectly fermented so I didn't have any issues after consuming it. They serve only Kemp chutney. It was not spicy even though it's color appeals a lot, yet very flavourful.
I have been here just once and was left highly impressed with the thatte idli offered here. This is a small place in Domlur which offers nothing but just thatte idli. There are not seating areas and just a table to stand and eat. The thatte idli and chutney served here are unique and quite flavourful. Do give it a try - you won't be disappointed
Vishnu Thatte Idly is simple & tasty food. They have good thatte idly (Bigger Idly prepared in Plates) and a good red colour spicy Chutney as accompaniment.Its really good to eat this good fresh & hot in winter mornings.
