After 4 years of experience, these are the things i can tell about my hostel Pros: -Merit wise admissions, so only capable students can live. -Quality rooms with of 2 3 4 & 5 sharings -good food quality in evening and morning with feasts on sundays. -availability of reading room & sports -all the things required for living are available nearby Cons: -Main problem is that it is situated on side of main road and near a Hall(used for various occasions like marriage etc.) So there occurs so much noise in the hostel. -sometimes the rector and guardian do not listen to problems and give illogical solution or no solution at all. -food in noon is somewhat dissatisfying. -there is penalty for each and every small things like you can not eat snacks in room and if you are caught, you will have to pay 50 to 100 or in some cases upto 200rs as penalty!! -sometimes it feels like they do not care about student and only care about money! Overall, if you can tolerate these things, you this hostel is good choice.

It is nice place to stay for the jain student who do not have any arrangements to stay in the city of AHMEDABAD & wish to study further.I have stayed there & studied in HLCC for 3 years during 1968 to 1971. It is very memorable period.
One of the best Jain hostel for boys in Ahmedabad. Located in the centre of the city. Rooms are very good, food is also good. Staff is "normally" rude.
