This is the worst South Indian restaurant I ever visited. Staff always looked in hurry. So serving etiquette. The authentic taste was missing. I ordered Mysoor Masala dosa and Ghee roast doasa. No butter paper available and masala was just like any random restaurant. It's more like a "mixed restaurant " not south indian special. Seems more focus has been on interiors than food. I think Lakshmi's in sec.37 or Vango is much better as budget SE restaurants. Naivedyam, Sagar Ratna and Karnatak (in GK2) still stays my top 3 for SE food.

This used to be my favourite places to enjoy South Indian food. It's Dosa and North Indian thali & vrat thali was my favourite . Sadly it's not favourite anymore. That authentic taste - that magic & aroma of south indian spices was missing . Don't make it fancy .Keep it simple & Tasty . Need to buck up guys .
-For good south indian food, its a good place. You can have dosa, platter, north indian also. Food is tasty, okayish for pocket. -It is a family resturant, very quick service. -manager is all time roaming there, very active. -they don't accept online booking and during weekends waiting queue is there. -otherwise good place, one time visit is must.
I have crossed many time Shree Rathnam many times while planning Lunch & Dinner. This time I got the opportunity to try. 1) Ambiance :- They have option of Chairs and sofa like any other Restaurent. The cutlery is very basic - steel with lots of spoon. 2) Food :- We ordered couple of vegetarian dishes and they where very average taste. But, I would recommend South India food. It's actually YUMMY! 3) Service :- Very pleasant and quick
For south indian food this is good. There are numbers of option of all south indian food is available. But service is little bit slow. Rest is fine. Plenty of space is available for many people. Also for family this is good place to eat and sit. Chinese and north indian also availbke. Dessrts and drinks are available but too costly. So see price before placing order.
Service is prompt and food gets you closer to Karnataka. I don't believe in saying authentic South Indian coz South India has many flavors and this place offers one of them. It's just that this place is not pricy but I don't mind paying once in a while for it.
