Shree Mandir Guest House - Guest house in Puri - Puri, India

Horrible guest house. No tv although there is tv in the room. We paid 600 extra for ac but most of the time they disconnect ac from their control room. Behaviour is very rude. I cannot imagine how they are running hotel business with this type of arrogant attitude. Whatever u ask they damn care to reply.

This is the worst hotel/guest house I have ever experienced. It has no policy of cleaning the rooms, changing bed sheets even after requesting many times. No tea and breakfast even after paying, if you ask for complimentary breakfast they will give you blank look. Most of the time their answer is NO of everything. After advance booking and payment you have to struggle and argue with the staff for room they say there is no rooms available. Moreover never book a vehicle through them as they take big commission in between, we booked a 7 seater car for site seeing for 3500/- they promised to arrange New Ertiga but the car actually came was very old innova with broken windshield and very dirty interior with poorly functioning AC. Driver told us it is booked for 2500/-, they took 1000/- commission. The only thing which is good is its location near the temple but there are many such hotels available near temple. After staying there for 3 nights we feel cheated. so beware of them.

Hotel is based on fraud business ethics. I already booked my rooms through make my trip, but reaching their at first they deny of booking,and said that they haven't any communication with MMT. After giving force they provide us room, after 1 hour of checking. Cleaning and service offering of this hotel is very poor quality. Maybe Once in a day they clean the rooms. Other facilities is zero. No auto or Vechile could not reach to the hotel by easy way. This hotel is totally fraud and fake in service oriented, as promised. It is not happen only with us. It is also facing to other people who are staying in this hotel. I request MMT & OYO to break the business relationship with this hotel.

Very bad experience.Spacious room in a good place and walkable to Jagannath Temple but it is so dirty. 1.You enter in to it.right side of the entrance is their garbage dumping area with nasty view and nasty smell.which is the 1st impression. 2.Rooms are spacious but dirty rooms not cleaned.Bed sheet,pillow cover ,blanket all used and dirty smelled they change and gave fresh after shouting.But not cleaned room is full of dirt and hairs. 3.Bath rooms also dirt and continuous water leakage is there from taps. 4.coarider could be better but 2/3 days dirty bedsheets,garbage dustbins are there with foul smell. 5.I think it is OYO rooms but this people changed OYO reputation. I have given the pic of the pillow below.

No room service. They alloted our room to some other guest and did not even intimate us. We had to shift to some other hotel. They don't deserve to get even one star. My request to future room bookers please don't go there. Your trip will definitely be spoiled because of some or other mess created by them. You get a tv in deluxe ac room with no set top box. Ac does not work even after paying for ac rooms.... They just spoiled all the fun and my trip.

The rooms were spatious. The food was okayish but the location was too interior, so we had to roam around a lot before we reached the guest house. But we had to give it to the staff. They we're helpful and polite throughout the stay.

Poor customer service. Rooms were not clean. Even though we told to clean and put an airfreshner they just swiped it only. The bedsheets and the pillows were not clean . The AC wasnt working till morning. In the morning there was no water . Im not recommending this for anyone.

Just keep this as a last option. Only advantage is that it's walkable distance to Puri Jagannath swamy temple. However, booking thru sites is a trap and charge very high of what it's worth. Staff cooperate but they too are victim of management's greed.
