Shree Maha Hotel - Restaurant in Vadipatti - Madurai, India

Came in for lunch and was surprised with their quality of Non-veg kulambu options. They also have an ac room for comfortable dining but with three 4 seater tables only. The place is crowded during peak lunch time and had to wait for 15 mins to get a seat. Waiters were friendly and they suggested what to have. Mutton biryani was good and the mutton pieces were so amazingly soft,.the best mutton pieces in a mutton biryani I had recently. Their nei Mutton chukka is a must try dish. Just mix it along with rice and have it.. and it's so yummy Moolai roast was very tasty too. They have around 4 Non-veg gravies and all are must-tries. The waiter compelled us to have their lemon rasam and he was right.. it was a nice finishing touch! Located just opposite to the Vadipatti bus stand, it's a popular place among locals as well as travellers. It is a worth trying Restaurant for authentic local style food.

Good taste and service is good. Hotel servers were actively engaging and checking with us for what we needed. I have tasted kothu parotta at multiple places but never seen a chopped version like this. Chicken & Mutton Kothu, I'm familiar. Never heard of kodal Kothu. That's awesome. I recommend this hotel if you are travelling from Madurai to Dindigul. It's very near from NH bypass. .

Visited this place for dinner on local's recommendation. Food was absolutely delicious and price was nominal. We tried bun parotta, mutton curry, karandi omelette, kalakki, Quail fry, mutton chukka. Bun parotta with mutton chukka was showstopper for me. I would recommend this place for lunch and dinner. Parking can be little tricky as this hotel is in main road.

Amazing food, kind people, and lovely ambience The food was good yet cheap. The servers were polite and were constantly at our service.

The Biriyani is so beautiful and delicious you will end up high on food. The prices are nominal and the variety in starters makes it a very good eatery to try authentic South Indian non-vegetarian cuisines. A must try if you are in Madurai.

My parents used to take me to this hotel when we visit vadipatti church. I remember this hotel being here for more than 8 years. This hotel is only for people who like tasty food and good hospitality. Atmosphere and cleanliness might not be for everyone's liking. The place is very congested during peak hours. Parking and seating might be an issue for some. Just try atleast once and judge for yourself.

Second visit today and had mutton biriyani, mutton eeral, egg Kudal roast, Nalli chops (my fav), ayira meen kozhambu, meals. Nalli chops is out of the world super soft and cooked to perfection. Eeral pieces were bigger, but cooked well. Egg Kudal roast is too good too. My brother had ayira meen Kuzhambu with meals and said it was good. Service is awesome with clean a/c rooms. Clean washrooms, if you are highway traveller. Adding more photos. Had mutton biriyani, mutton chukka, mutton Nalli chops, Kudal roast and half meals. Biriyani was amazing with excellent taste. Nalli chops was greatly cooked, so soooft ...all items tasted very good and the place is very clean.
