The quantity is good. Taste is average. They have recently increased the price. After we asked them about it, they charge us a discounted price. Not bad over all
We had mutton briyani, pepper 65 chicken, goat brain, pawn fry, meals, fried mutton (briyani/ rice), fish fry. Everything has good quantity for money you pay +taste. Fast moving food stall so no previous stuff. Everything was good in taste worth for money. In Chennai best non veg hotel to have rather than going to reputed"name" . They maintain same taste Everytime. Advice order less eat well, don't be so hard but try everything now and then. Place for small hangout. They have high chairs all around like bars&pubs. Small place with large moving crowd. Most people come to get take away food. Must try hotel in this locality. Cons: car parking limitation, don't c restrooms, less space, more people.
One of the cheap and best hotels in and around Doveton offering delicious non-vegetarian dishes. Sometimes the parcel wing skips some items if you order too many no of items. Must try items Madurai bun parotid,chicken roasted biriyaniand mutton kola.
If you're looking for authentic Madurai style food, look no where else. This place might give you happy tears when the first spoon or even more colloquially the first mouth of Biryani hits your taste buds. Reached this place around quarter past 2 on a Sunday, to my disappointment mutton and chicken biriyani were already finished then. But the plain biriyani was good enough to give the whiff of how the chicken or mutton biriyani would be. Also the famous Kari Dosai was irresistible as well. The staff were affable too. Also one thing that surprised was the cleanliness of the place and steps taken to maintain good hygiene. The food is prepared right in front of your eyes. The chefs wear caps. More of a takeaway place than a dine in. Do not barge in with a large party and you might be disappointed with the lack of space here. The prices are slightly on the upper side.
I ordered chicken roasted biryani. but they delivered chicken fried rice. I complained, restaurant's response were very poor.
