Clean, beautiful, pious, religious Ashtvinayak temple of Latur. Built in innovative architecture model (8 angles) with a ganesh idol in each angle and main idol at centre of the temple. Outside temple seating chairs under the trees, small garden, idols of Goddess Saraswati, God Shankar etc. make it a well maintained holy place to visit with family.

The Ashtavinayak Temples are a group of eight holy temples situated in the state of Maharashtra. Each of these temples is associated with legends of Lord Ganesha and is considered as a part of pilgrimage dedicated to the Lord. The Ashtavinayak Temples should be visited in a pre-determined sequence. It should begin with Sri Moreshwar Temple followed by the Siddhivinayak Temple, Ballaleshwar Temple, Varadvinayak Temple, Chintamani Temple, Girijatmaj Temple and the Vignahar Temple. The last temple in the list is the Mahaganapathi Temple at Ranjangaon, Pune. It is believed that the pilgrimage is complete only when the devotee visits the first temple again after visiting all the other seven temples.

I just love this temple. Been visiting it since my childhood whenever use to come for vacation. This was the only attraction at that time around 1995-2000. And it's still one of the most recommended attraction in Latur. Other than Virat Hanuman. Everyone knows the state of later This temple has has maintained quiet well. It's neat and clean. The area is also quite big.located surrounding the tution classes. So you will find students quiet often. My Only wish is, had they kept the water fall flowing and pet animals (rabbits, peacock) like olden days it would have been terrific.
