Our sir took us to Kumbakonam's most famous Veg Mess. It was so crowded you need to wait outside to get inside and there was very little space to walk inside. They serve so quick and with so much care. They treat everyone as a family and ask multiple times what else do you want. Food tasted so good. They serveed rice sambar rasam buttermilk,2 poreyal and one appalam. The floor was always wet and slippery aged people need to be careful. You need to take your banana leaves and dispose it to the dustbin.

Excellent Restaurent at Swami Malai. Traditional setting, with Simple but convenient Seating Arrangements. But they still maintain the tradition that We dispose the Plantain Leaf after finishing our Breakfast/Lunch. Tasty and Delicious Food. Last week, we visited this place. Had Ashoka Halwa, Dosa, Vada, Coffee etc.Halwa was so Nice. Vada was so crispy like in Bangalore. Coffee was also very good. Prices are very reasonable and Service was Courteous. Place not to be missed while visiting Swami Malai.

Conveniently located at the foothills of Swamimalai temple, this restaurant is a blessing to the visitors. Very tasty food at reasonable price. Coffee was prepared with Cow milk. Very courteous staff focused on delivering quality service to customers than selling unwanted food items to the customers. Authentic South Indian breakfast served at an affordable price in banana leaf. Clean interior with nice wall decorations and comfortable seating makes this place the winner!

Really good and tasty food. Located at foothill of temple. We had breakfast. You must try Asoka Halwa too. Tasty O Tasty. Good service.

Stayed in swamimalai for 3 days, and this place was close to the place where we stayed. They serve authentic filter coffee , actually their coffee is one of the best. You can also have fresh sugarcane juice , with variety of food choices. At morning they have breakfast like idli medu vada, dosa etc. At lunch they serve meal at just 100Rs per person with unlimited food, like rice , rasam , sambar , 2-3 tyes of curry , curd with papad. If you're looking for a place for home like food and is also pocket friendly then this is the one. Do visit!

You must try sambar for idly dosa.. That sambar is very unique taste.. Sprouts they put in sambar.. Authentic taste in all food.. Coffeeidiyapam everything is good.. Very clean and neat hotel..
