Shravan Devi Mandir - Hindu temple in Hardoi, Tatura - Hardoi, India

This temple is a holy site of Hardoi city. Here you will get to visit Shravan Devi Temple and Prahlad Kund The people of Hardoi have a lot of faith in this temple. Prahlad Kund built here looks great

It was beautifully maintained and designed when DM Pulkit Khare was there. It's still good but now there is no proper maintenance.

This premise has 2 prominent hindu temples,. 1.Shravan Devi Mandir: According to Hindu mythology, when Goddess Parvati jumped into fire after his father insulted her husband, Lord Shiva. Hearing this Lord Shiva filled with anger and he carried the burnt body of Goddess, Goddess' different 52 body part scattered all through India. Here it is said Ear(Sharvan) was fallen. ------------------------------------------------------ 2. Prahlad Kund: There was a king Hiranyakashipu, he was aesthetic in nature and very cruel too. He made rule that no one will worship anyone. He is the only one to be worshipped in his kingdom. After sometime a son born to him. The son was very religious and it made Hiranyakashipu angry. So he ordered his sister (who has the divine shawl which gaurds her from fire) to sit with his son Prahlad in the fire. But in the end Prahlad was saved by God. It is said Prahlad used to play here.

Verygood place where is Holika burn with prahlad the pond is situated.

After some most awaited work initiated by DM Hardoi, this place is now in list of most of the people as favorite destination for morning or evening walk. The view of Prahlad ghat is amazing.

I loved it. Right now I am unable to tell what I am feeling the place which I remembered is completely changed each and everything is changed.
