I would say the best hostel in Shillong A very great campus to walk around a good environment No loud noise The people are super friendly and nice And the food is very nice compared to our expectations the facilities that a student need are all available here If you want a college life with good studies along with lots of fun you should definitely go for ShongShuk
Decent but not that good
I have been in this hostel since the inception of the hostel and I have no regrets staying here.The best hostel I have ever stayed.The extra curricular activities keeps one refreshed when stressed.It is reasonable in terms of money with the facilities provided.The picnic and the pre-Christmas celebration are two awesome programs to look forward to.It is more like a home than a hostel. The hostel keeps upgrading their facilities which is very interesting too. The Saturday nights gatherings keeps us close together, the movie nights, fun nights and worship nights. This is a hostel where everyone gets an opportunity to develop one's leadership skills either by leading or speaking in front of friends. The wardens are friendly yet diplomatic too. My two years stay here i have never missed home because the atmosphere itself already makes me so at home.If u are looking for a hostel that seem more like a home than this is the right place for you.
Perhaps one of the best hostels in Shillong. Has accommodation for both boys and girls in separate buildings. Neat, clean and spacious open grounds in the middle of the city gives the hostel its USP.
Being away from home....this is my second home because I'm d first badge from d hostel n I know how it is...it has a very friendly environment with many loving people from all around northeast or even from outside northeast ....I got to know so many people n cultures of Der's through this hostel....Glad I ended up here
The best hostel in Shillong for students. A home away from home. Probably the only hostel which provides A class facilities. Two seater , three decker study table , one wardrobe and a dressing table , 24/7 hot and cold running water , Wi-Fi , computer and printing facilities which most of the hostels do not provide.

First of all food is too good in comparison to other Hostel. The owner is very kind and friendly and a down to earth person... Good water facility and good rooms (2 person per room , there's also single room ) .....Staff are good , very good studying
Zawlbuk hostel is run by mizo's. Near the hostel there have malki football ground and gyms too. The college like umpshyrpi, sankar dev, saint Anthony, saint marry, shillong college and law college are very near from this hostel.

Had a very pleasant stay. The cottage is very well maintained and furnished. Rooms were neat and clean. The owner of the property,Mr Darell is very soft spoken and helpful. Overall the stay was very cozy. Highly recommended.
Came here for wisdom tooth extraction and the doctor did a great job. He explains beforehand how he will proceed and listens to his patients' concern. I highly recommend a visit if you have any dental ailments.
