It is strongly advised if you want to cherish the natural world. However, since this location is surrounded by hills and you cannot drive often to other locations, if you are going to visit numerous locations nearby, I would not suggest it. Pros: Nature with scenic surrounding, Cleanness Yummy Food courtesy of the crew Indoor & Outdoor games Tea plantation walk Cons: It is best to arrive before dusk because the journey is rather steep.
We had a very nice stay amidst the tea gardens . The management was very friendly and cordial. The place is very safe with tasty food which was served hot everytime we ordered it . One of the best place to stay to escape the hustle . Last but not the least ,the camp fire and the hospitality was exemplary.

Spent 3 days here for the new year's. Around 18 of us rented out the place. The staffs were really good and helpful at all times they went extra mile to make us feel so good. The property owners had really turned the place into a fine stay. Food was outstanding. You could ask the staffs to take you around for a small trek. Party speakers, basket ball etc. were provided but it's better to carry your own gaming/sports equipment. Rooms were neat and cosy. Ambience:5/5 Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Cleanliness:5/5 Is it worth it ? Yes.

A great place along kothagiri town for a quick weekend getaway. The rooms were clean and spacious overlooking onto nice scenics. The staff were also polite and are some of the great cooks out there! Overall had a pleasant experience.
Excellent service. My cab driver Mr.John from Jesus travel was excellent. He drove really smooth and hassel free. He picked us on time and he was consistent with his service. Very much humble. Absolutely loved the service. Driving was smooth enough.

Best cup of tea and snacks in Donnington kotagiri. Very well managed by a cool loving malayalee couple. The samosa is awesome. A must visit location to have tea.
Rooms are well maintained. We had to manage without hot water for bath in that cold weather. Location is on the highway about 2kms from Kothagiri. Pure veg food is available at Nahar Retreat and spa about 2km from this place.
