Shivtarai Resort (Baiga resort and Tendu Leaf restaurant) - Tourist attraction in Shivtarai - Bilaspur, India

One word - Amazing! This place is a neat getaway from busy city life. The price is reasonable and road connectivity is great. It is guarded by forest guards to avoid any unplanned wildlife encounters. One recommendation, don't travel to and from here after dark, as the area sees alot of tiger attacks.

Superb place and nature wise peaceful place

Beautiful place, peaceful, surrounded by greenery, forest , so relaxing amazing.. good food, good ambiance .. it is a government resort located in ATR .. u can roam all around jungle through safari.. well for now.. u can find wild life in the jungle of Achanakmar tiger & leopard are seen in forest almost daily.. u need to book ur safari in advance.. although is safari is available u can get on spot..

The place is OK. The restaurant serves OK food. Electricals and fittings keep breaking down. And if it breaks down (the commode flush was not working) then it can't be repaired immediately because the mechanic has to come from Bilaspur. The ride itself was beautiful through vales, dales, thick and sparse forest. But wildlife is scarce; only bisons snd chitals are seen and almost no bird life. However, worst part is that for the safari, the driver comes in late with the Gypsy and he is in a hurry to complete the circuit as quickly as possible so the 4 hr safari is done in 2.5 hrs. The guide is not only ignorant but is a useless spotter. We did the spotting ourselves. Recommended that both the driver and the guide be sent for retraining and customer service.

cost is high and not well maintained though amazing place serenity close to nature.. if u want to see beautiful sunrise with mesmerizing sound wakeup early morning

Shivtarai resort is a government resort located in the jungles of achanakmar tiger reserve. It's a hygienic and secure place to stay and enjoy your weekend. You can enjoy jungle safari also. Food quality is good. Overall it's a very nice place and staff is also good.

Very good resort, they main good cleanliness, better service, guidance to tour the forest, staff have very helpful nature. Good for bringing children there are a lots of things to play for, must come during dusshera diwali fest or summer season, very pleasant weather.
