Shivsagar Farm House - Food court in Bhilar - Satara, India

Overall a good experience, the hotel is too far from city, away from the hustle bustle. The room didn't appear as a premium room as marketed nor it is a farm house property. Valley view is not as expected but overlooking some residential area. Had to get the bathroom cleaning done on arrival. Linen used is not upto mark and is either torn or full of stains. The staff is good though, well mannered and cooperative and service is fast, staff can do better with some quality training. Room service quality is average. Breakfast options are okay too and can be improved. They had musical nights at the restaurants which was very soothing. Overall good budget property for one time stay

Rooms were messy when we got it. No way to contact room service. Location is great, accessible. Lots of parking. Good view. Service could be better. Toilet was not clean. Water bottles provided were used. Staff takes 30 minutes to respond to anything. Has a fridge, roomy rooms. Stayed in the old building

We stayed for two days, there was no hot water in the tub on the first day.. And I had booked directly with the venue in advance but to my surprise there was a better deal online when I checked on the way to the venue.. they were not willing to match the price.. But the room ambience was very good..

Great place to unwind and relax. Royal suite is amazing . Staff is polite and friendly and food is also good.. they have musical nights too..

Shivsagar farmhouse was a very beautiful resort. It is a family resort. Service is a bit slow. We were charged Rs. 500 for a room card which usually other hotels do not charge. Breakfast was ok, could have been wide-spread.

These guys are not up to the mark, unfinished construction, average place , if you call them and book directly, at the end of your stay these fraudsters will give bill on a paper from ordinary bill book like old time( not even like ganpati mandap pawti ) , on insisting the manager will give a stamp on that paper ; all this to save tax and gst, payment in cash only or else 12% extra! So no record of me going to this place !!! I paid full amount ( govt doesn't know no tax paid , sab black) Service : is as usual, food : regular, serenity : WHOLE SATARA IS SERENE !!! Rooms : regular Moral of the story, there are better places to go to.... I mean who needs this nonsense on a vacation!

For better deal I'll suggest to choose any online options as on the property reception they charge thrice the price mentioned online also happened with me. The property is not in MAHABALESHWAR it's 9km approx away from main MAHABALESHWAR also the climate varies.

Shivsagar Farmhouse is located in Bhilar, the location of the resort is quiet and serene. Mapro Garden and Panchghani market are located within 10 mins. The resort has two buildings old and new. I stayed in the old building which is well maintained, rooms are spacious and clean. Executive rooms come with a balcony and have a excellent view. Hotel staff is courteous and helpful. Breakfast spread is good and restaurant staff always serves you with a smile. Swimming pool is good with a baby and kids pool as well. Would highly recommend as budget luxury.
