Shivraj Dhaba Karad - Marathi restaurant in Gote, Varunji - Satara, India

First we talk about goods 1. ROTI Size is big ( 2 rotis are enough for 1 person) 2. Akka masur quality is good 3. Service is good and fast 4. Ambience and lights are good. 5. waiting area is enough 6. Good parking area and clean washrooms Now the bads 1. Always Very Crowded. 2. Waiting for family dining is more 3. If you are one or two people you should share the table with strangers 4. Other dishes are not that good (i tried dal makhani and paneer) only masur is good 5. Quantity of masur is less ( if you eat more than 2 rotis) 6. Also Dahi quantity is less 7. I think this restaurant is bit expensive than other same restaurants That's all my opinion and experience

Hype ....but not happy ! The quality of akkha masur was not on that mark compared to other special hotels who serve that iconic akkha masur dishes. Too crowded and waiting. Service is fast and has a good ambiance. Over all a better expectations next time visit.

Good Environment and Quantity. Quality and quantity is main USP of this restaurant. Spacious parking available. Quick service. Limited menu and big size roti. All good to try and feel authentic Satara taste

Tasted the first time akka masoor(brown lentils) in the main branch of Karad and the taste was lip-smacking! Must try if in Karad.

Today, had an opportunity for lunch at Shivaji dhaba, Karad where I never visited. The hotel is spacious with separate space for family and other tourists. Also, the hotel has ample parking. The service is quick. This restaurant is famous for dish Akkha Masur and big tandoori roti with or without butter. Complementary salad is also provided. Taste is awesome and one MUST try the hospitality at Shivaji Dhaba while driving from Pune to Bengalore. Also, on can see statue of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj having lunch.

Though it's Veg dhaba..,it was house full. Tasty thalisIt's a huge place. AC and Non AC halls. Big parking space

#Heading back to Lonavala Via Kolhapur Mahalaxmi Temple Darshan , Visited this Place for Specially Akhaaa Masoor Loved it and The service was Too Good with the Car Park Will Visit Again and Again , Just maintain the Same Taste and Quality

A pure veg restaurant on the high. It was way too crowded when we went. Good ventilation as most of it is open seating types under a shed. Bad was it was way too hot as no sufficient fans available. They were sparying water from sprinklers which was not helping. They have very limited menu hence Service is very fast. Size of roti is way big enough. They have clean washrooms. Ice-cream shop just outside was nice. Food taste - 4/5 Food quantity- 4/5
