It's just a shanty BEST bus stop which is used as a pick up point for MSRTC and other private buses. From the reviews it seems that people have had mixed experiences. While I was lucky to have gotten a private bus in 20 mins, waiting here for a bus does not instill much confidence in getting a bus soon.

There was no one to guide not even a chart of timings were displayed I waited for 2 hours but not even a single bus came by... do not wait here for the bus it's better to go to the nearest bus depot than waiting here

I didn't find any bus going from that bus stop after 6.45pm ... Although autos were visiting from that place but didn't take me to Borivali. So people who are trying to visit and take a bus from Shivneri restrict yourself as you might end up wasting your time there.
The bus stop can be easily accessed by any means of transport. Though there's not much provision made for waiting. But waiting time is quite less as buses run frequently and seats get filled up pretty quick. The bus stop is under the Dadar TT flyover.
