Rooms was Clean, Location Was Good, Far From City Crowd, Peaceful place, staff is Good, Manager mr. Rohit is very helping and Nice person. just a little thing food is average according to rates. otherwise a good hotel to stay and under budget.

Not Even worth of one star. No water in rooms. No Geyser. Even Blankets & Bedsheets were smelling badly. Caretaker Manish was also very irresponsible. He was highly drunk at the time of check in. Very Bad Experience. Worst Homestay.

Clean and comfortable rooms and great staff. Honest and trustworthy. The feller upstairs in the conviniemce store is wher you want to go for your info. If he doesn't understand your question he will ask his parents. He was very honest and offered to take my to the bus stop for a few hundred INR, but advised me to get the bus for around 15. Bus service very easy. Beautiful views and great staff. Tea and meals are available but limited menu but this wasn't a problem. Guy made me a great breakfast omelette which was really tasty and chai on tap. Little cold at night but to be expected. Only thing that stopped this being a 5 was the firmness of the bed, however unless you are an absolutely terrible sleeper I wouldn't worry. I slept no problem.

The homestay was nice. It was clean. The host is awesome. Very friendly and helpful. Speaks very good english. Dont hire any tour guides instead just have a chat with the host (Rohit). The only thing that was difficult for us was the transportation between the homestay and main town shimla. There are buses but the last bus from shimla departs at 7 if you miss that bus then you will have to take a cab which is going to make a hole in your wallet. If your travelling in your vehicle then nothing like it. Apart from transportation. This place is nice

Rooms were clean. View was amazing. Caretaker taken good care of us. Only problem we faced that food was not good. Expect that everything was perfect. And it's 5km away from mall road. I would highly recommend anyone to go for it

awesome behaviour and hospitality of owner. price is unbeatable, home.made food facilities and cab facilities at genuine pricing. can't find a better place other than shivanchal.home stay. one only problem is the distance from shimla.city and sight seeing places are little.bit far but that is acceptable if u have cab and hired vehicle facilities

Great people, cheap, food on site. Bed wasn't the comfiest but I'm beginning to see a trend in that regard when it comes to home stays as opposed to hostels. I was fine so Unless you are an absolutely terrible sleeper I would recommend this place. Nothing overtly wrong with it other than the bed to a degree. You should get there from shimla old bus stop for around 500 INR. The guy upstairs that works in the convenience store is a good guy. Honest and trust worthy, as was the feller who showed me my room and made me breakfast. Chai on tap, can smoke in the room. Not loads to do round the immediate area, by not loads I mean nothing.

Every thing with this hotel is good. Nice view along with best service by host. I enjoyed every moment of being here. Only con you have to remember is that this homestay is far away from shimla. Approximate distance from shimla is 10 km and you will need a cab to reach shimla.
