Hotel management is so bad , stafs are so rudely ,not recommended this hotel
Shivam hotel is located just beside sealdah railway station, or you can say in between sealdah railway station to NRS medical college and hospital. Rooms are really in good condition. And the main attractive part is variation of room price. You can choose any room between Rs 800 to Rs 2000 per day. The main difference between lower price room and higher price room is only the size. Other accommodations are almost same . You will get well furnished room with geyser in rs 800/day also. Staffs are really awesome. Foods are not available here. But lots of hotels are present just outside Shivam hotel. Check in - Check out time is 8am IST.
The hotel is okay but the receptionist ( a middle aged man) is mentally unstable, I guess. He is extremely rude, arrogant, always gives wrong answer and talks in a derogatory tone which is pretty offensive. Avoid this hotel if you have some alternate option.

Nice rooms and nice location. But they have few blankets. So if it is too cold then they can't provide sufficient blankets and the blankets they provide are very thin.
