Came here before noon for breakfast. We had 3 Gobi paronthey, tava style - they came out hot & fresh with some dahi, butter, and achaar. The paronthey were mild as far as spiciness, but flavorful. We also had cha, it looks like they used gur for sweetness which was nice surprise at first sip. Most importantly, cleanliness is kept. My only recommendation would be for the bathrooms, to make toilet paper available for those who prefer.

If you are hungry while traveling.... Shivalik Vaishno Dhaba is a great choice for a pause in the journey. This place serves amazing food. We were traveling from waga border to Chandigarh and we found this amazing restaurant which was worth the visit. They serve food even in midnight, which is absolutely great for people travelling. It really has diverse menu and serves delicious Punjabi food. It's definitely worth checking out.

Tandoori parantha was good. but not worth the price... Atleast butter be included with parantha like in murthal dhabas you got free butter . Gur (Jaggery) chai is a must try... Would recommend it... Roasted desi ghee besan barfi is worst @ 480 per Kg.. Dont buy sweets from them...

Shivalik sweets and vaishno dhaba, Balachaur . It is very nice place on Chandigarh Highway. very neat and clean. Good service. Food is very tasty. The owner themselves Santokh Singh ji and Gurdeep ji are very soft spoken and hospitable. You can enjoy good quality food here. They also have a very special Besan which is awesome. From so many years whenever we are on the way to Chandigarh , we always stop here for their special Besan. They also have Desi burfi and Kalakand. Kalakand is also very tasty. Everything here is always fresh. They have outdoor as well as indoor seating. I am visiting this place from so many years and has no hesitation in saying that they serve good food in reasonable prices.

We ate here and had the same stuff packed for our dinner and I was impressed. The cooking was masterly on Chana Masala and Paneer Bhurji. The tea was nice too. There are a lot of Dhabas on this road. But this dhaba retains its customers and around 2 pm the cars start swarming in its parking. The sitting one snatches is based on entry time; inside in the AC zone with chandeliers are the sofas; outside besides the confectionary are office seats; and on the porch are plastic chairs. A salient feature of Shivalik Dhaba is that it is also a bakery and a sweets shop. So you can buy kalakands, ladoos, milk cakes, etc. They tried their best but house flies have invaded the building and they should purchase a electric fly trap to preserve the shop's ambience from buzzing flies. Highly Recommended.

Situated on Balachaur Road Shivalik Dhaba is good option for breakfast, lunch, dinner. Prices are reasonable. Food is good in taste. Neat and clean washrooms. Dining hall has high back and comfortable chairs. Service quality is good but requires some improvement in delivery. Better to place your whole order in advance. It will save lot of time. They also sell sweets. Good in quality.On the whole good eating experience for travellers. I recommend this place.

Bhai Majaa Aagaya, Best lachaa parantha and Dal Makhni I ever had, I really recommend anyone reading this to go eat there, trust me you will love it. The food is super awesome
