Experience was worst. I got skin allergy right after using bed and quilt. Towels were full of dirt, received cold food, i just took one meal, rest all meals from Gopals restaurant situated on highway. Actually they are not promoting quality according to my stay, even I complained about my problems at the front desk. Seriously I was not expecting this. I am amazed why people don't focus to provide best service. They hire extra staff on weekends, how they may promote quality??? I was not expecting this from Shivalik. Everyone deserve quality after paying. I request owner to focus on quality-issue.
Very nice ambience... View from the balcony is very nice... Quality of food is very good.... But there is one problem which I have to mention is that if the electricity goes off, they don't switch on the generator.... We stayed in dark for hours....
Rooms are spacious but not well maintained. Full of tiny cockroaches all over the room, Beds rattling. The washrooms are clean but the taps are leaky and water dropping from geyser. Toiletries are poor. Balcony view was average. The pillows were bad and had to be replaced. Service was not good and had to be reminded many times for the requirements. The parking was enough. Located nearer to dharampur rather than kasauli. Nothing nearby to walk and visit. They have newer room in lower floor but views are not so good. Upper floors are better. The overall outlook of the hotel is good but inside is not so good.
