If you are in Hampi go and ask for a banana and coconut dosa for breakfast. You won't regret. I even forgot to take a picture of it. Delicious. And with honey as a dip.
They serve authentic South Indian Brahmin style vegetarian food and it is located close to Virupaksha temple and bus stand. They serve freshly cooked delicious home food at reasonable prices.
If you are looking out for authentic south Indian breakfast and also at reasonable price then this is undoubtedly great place. The most inportant thing is that the Uncle prepares everything on daily basis, hence it is fresh and also serves it with all love. There are limited menu options - Dosa, Puri Bhaji, Idli & Medu Vada. I loved Medu Vada alot, they are super tasty and also red chutney is what I loved the most.
Uncle is so nice He really makes dosa with love I was the last person today and we were having a conversation. He mentioned that the chutney will be thrown away. No food from the previous day is used. The chutney was so tasty i started having it more. I did not want it to get wasted. Uncle gave me many idlis from morning. I'm so nicely full. He did not charge for the idlis. I m telling you it is made with love. Love is the main ingredient. Also, it is not at all spicy (mentioning it for tourists).
This is a hole-in-the-wall eatery and a hidden gem in the by-lanes of Hampi Bazaar close to the Virupaksha Temple. The menu options are limited but the quality of food and beverages is top-notch. We chanced upon this place while looking for a quick bite in the Hampi Bazaar in the evening. The dosa served here has a very distinct and authentic taste and can be enjoyed by itself without the company of chutneys/sambars. The must-try suggestions include dosa, medu vada, and tea. We ate here thrice during our stay in Hampi. Note: This review is only for the Shiva cafe and we did not stay in the guest house.
Best Dosa and coffee also tea is very good. Swami is very friendly and gives you information about the places if you try and connect :)

I stayed at the guesthouse here for 5 nights with absolutely no issues.. clean, comfortable, affordable, great location, great food downstairs, the owner and his son are so kind and helped me book my bus to bangalore too. If in Hampi definitely stay at Megha Guesthouse!
Amazing taste Out of other places for breakfast I would surely choose this place again. They provided us very good & fast service. The Idlis were very fluffy and medu wada was also delicious. If you are nearby Verupaksha temple do visit.

Great temple. I bought special darshna tickets for it otherwise you may not even see inside if the place is crowded. We did feed fishes as well in the pond there.
My partner and I went for full body massage at the SIDHA Ayurveda spa, and we both had a completely amazing experience. My partner had a massage from Sunil and I was massaged by his female colleague. This was the best massage of my life! Sunil and hi
The host is kind and welcoming. Food was freshly made, tasty and served on time. Rooms are clean and comfortable with AC and hot water. Overall Vinayaka Homestay was a good place to stay over.
This great historical site offers so much information about South India and their various importance. Yes it's a tedious walk around for about 4-5 km which is in form of a circuit, but that's the part where you feel like walking in the history, and e
Temple with vibes. Hampi's main temple. Best time to visit is early morning or evening time you can enjoy. Noon it will be too hot. Hire a guide to explore each and every sculpture of this temple. Parking is available around 500m away. You can click
Sunset point on Hemakuta hill. Entrance from the Sasivekalu Ganesha side. From entrance around 500-700mts walk uphill (short hike). Gets busy after 5:30 to see the sunset. Very good view, ample sitting space for many folks and camera. No charges or
A lot of temple ruins on the Hemakuta Hill - this is the gist of this place. There are a lot of rock boulders on the hill and the temples are scattered all over them. The top of the hill offers a beautiful view of the Hampi town. It is a sight to beh
We went late in t night at closing time and was lucky enough to see the last pooja of the day. Temple is beautiful ... very nice visit . Recommend to visit the temple much before closing time which is 8pm.
