I'm an owner of a travel agency and I had traveled with my group ( 19 people) to chardham yatra from USA. Our stop at Shiv Parivar Resort in Utarkashi was okay. The resort is quite run down. Bedding was not too bad, but one of the rooms bedding smelled like urine which is disgusting! A/C in two of the rooms didn't work with regulators missing for the ceiling fans. Bathrooms were clean and hot water was great, but shampoo was missing inmost of the bathrooms and the towels were quite small in size. Lots of bugs in the rooms. Food was very good! . Location of the resort is beautiful. . Mr. Raj the manager at the resort was very accommodating and helpful. Unless the property is updated I won't use this property for my groups.
This review is in reference to my group, which had a great experience in Shiv Parivar Resort. The staff is very friendly and professional, Special thanks to Vinay ji for helping me out with the bookings . Rooms were spacious enough, clean and the view was stunning. Hotel is located away from Shor Sharaba. It has a parking space which is a plus point for a hotel. The buffet outspread and food quality was good. It has a river front and can be recommended for Meditation and leisure. Thanks for your services.
Stayed here 2 nights. Where do I start.... Firstly, the first room given to us has a smell and was not properly cleaned. Someone's hat was lying there as well as the glass near the kettle was literally filled with what looked like dirty water. We switched on the A/c and water started to drip from it. TV too did not work. When we complained after an hour, we were shown 2 other rooms. Both had the smell and tv did not work there either. Eventually, we took a room and they managed to get the tv working. Come evening and the insects were all around, so have to stay in the stuffy room. Food was ok and they had students as part timers as they had holidays. Don't recommend this hotel.
Service is very poor. Staff is illiterate and arrogant. There is no early morning tea for pilgrims going for Pooja.breakfast items are too less. Staff behaves very rudely for any service. Most staff looks teenagers . Owner/ manager is not bothered at all to listen to guests. They just want to make money. I will not recommend this hotel.
Excellent location. Services very poor. Staff behaviour very rude and unprofessional. They have hired unskilled people, who don't have any soft skill training. Even to get tea bags, and washed towel you need to request several times. Even to pilgrims early morning tea and packed breakfast is not served on time. Owner is probably not bothered for improvement in guest services. I will not recommend this place.
Had a wonderful stay at the property with entire family. The property is located at such a picturesque location just next to Bhagirathi's bank with beautiful green hills all around. Their complimentary breakfast and lunch is next to home made, if not better. The entire staff is quite helpful ... Cleanliness, hygiene, decoration all is top notch... Perfect to stay with family....
Excellent service,Food was like homemade.The owner of the hotel was so courteous and friendly,we felt like a family member treating us all the time.
Good location, nice rooms but services are quite slow or not even close to slow. One has to ask multiple times, food is average and even if you ask them to prepare something then they refuse. Location is very good, on the bank of Ganga
