Shirve gudda is one of best experience of life, mountain peaks covered with medicinal trees some wild animals. There is a shiva temple on the peak of the 1st mountain and a nandi at the top most peak of 2 nd mountain. I recommend you to visit this place once in life.

Shirve Gudda Nice mountain for trekking during Nov, Dec Jan Takes three hours to reach peak, Starting from Shirve Village near Devalmakki ,Karwar, Half way on the trekking you will come across famous Sidhhrameshwar temple then you are entering dense forest to reach the peak. From peak you can see kali river valley, kadra dam, Kaiga town ship, Halga Ulga Siddar If Sky is clear Kodibag Arabian Sea, Trekking under taken on 24.12.2018 by Six people Rajeev Ramachandran, Amol Pathak, Ravinder Singh, Vikram Singh Yogi, Sanjay Gouda and Sivanand Ambig.

Amazing place to trek during monsoon( not recommended during on a rainy day) and winter season. A moderately easy trek. The peak provides you panoramic view of most of the Karwar taluk from the Kadra Reservoir, Trail of Kali River to the Arabian sea. On one of the ends you have a nice sit out to gaze at the horizons of the Arabian sea. Important Note: This is a very holy and a some what occult place. So, restrict you and your friends from bringing alcohol or non vegetarian food here. Remove your footwear while you climb to the top most rock peak, which has the flag post as it's a holy shrine. As per some folklore this place is only supposed to be visited during the annual temple festival but due the modernization it has become a trekking spot. Hence, due respect has to be given to it. It's also said that you are not supposed to flick any thing from that place, not even a rock, as it brings bad omen to you.
